After months (years!) of thinking, writing, questioning, rewriting, and wondering if all the pieces would come together, I’m very happy to share that my PhD proposal has been accepted.
I’m not quite ready to reveal the details just yet, but this feels like thebeginning of an exciting new chapter—one that brings together many of the threads I’ve been following for years: making, research, textiles, stories, and the connections between people, places, and traditions.
What started as curiosity, conversations, and a desire to learn more has gradually grown into something much bigger than I imagined. There is still a long road ahead, plenty more to discover, and many more questions than answers—but that’s exactly what makes the journey so exciting.
For now, I’m taking a moment to appreciate this milestone and look forward to seeing where this next chapter leads.
