My practice is rooted in drawing and stitch, exploring the stories, histories and connections held within textiles. I am fascinated by the knowledge carried through the hand and by the ways making can help us understand ourselves, others and the world around us.

Inspiration
Working across embroidery, drawing and mixed media, I draw inspiration from textile traditions, everyday objects and the people I meet through travel, teaching and research. Each piece becomes part of an ongoing conversation between observation, making and reflection.
Teaching
Alongside my own creative practice, I teach workshops and give talks that encourage others to discover the pleasure of making by hand. Whether working with complete beginners or experienced makers, I hope to inspire curiosity, confidence and a deeper appreciation of textile traditions.
